Tata Motors Introduces New Trims and Features for Altroz Premium Hatchback

Tata Motors, a leading Indian automotive manufacturer, has expanded its Altroz premium hatchback lineup by introducing two new trims – XM and XM(S). These trims are exclusively available with the 1.2 petrol-manual powertrain and come with exciting features, enhancing the appeal of the Altroz range. The XM trim is priced at Rs 6.90 lakh, while the XM(S) trim comes with a slightly higher price tag of Rs 7.35 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi).

  • Key Features of Altroz XM and XM(S) Trims

The Altroz XM trim is well-equipped with several attractive features, including steering-mounted controls, a height-adjustable driver’s seat, electrically adjustable wing mirrors, and 16-inch steel wheels with wheel covers. On the other hand, the XM(S) trim goes a step further and adds a sunroof to its list of features, providing a more premium driving experience. Both the XM and XM(S) trims offer the option of a 9-inch touchscreen as an additional feature.

  2. The XM+ and XM+(S) trims are now equipped with a reverse camera, height-adjustable driver’s seat, and cruise control.
  3. The XT variant receives a height-adjustable driver’s seat, 16-inch hyperstyle wheels, and a rear defogger.

The Tata Altroz competes in the premium hatchback segment and goes head-to-head with popular rivals such as the Hyundai i20, Maruti Suzuki Baleno, and Toyota Glanza. With its stylish design, spacious interior, and now enhanced features, the Altroz continues to offer a compelling proposition to potential buyers.

  • Tata SUV Price Hike

In a separate announcement, Tata Motors recently implemented a price hike of 0.6 percent, amounting to up to Rs 20,000, for its SUV lineup, including models like the Nexon, Harrier, and Safari. However, customers who booked their SUVs before July 16, 2023, will be exempted from this price increase.
